During my days as a student, Unijos was fast becoming Tech Driven with a better ICT Infrastructure and Modern Libraries, these platforms were useful especially when one is in dire need of extra resources to support learning. Also, the school has the most socially-matured environment when compared with other institutions.

I enjoyed studying at UJ. Generally a good experience except for the crisis in Jos at that time. Knowledgeable lecturers and good study material. I enjoyed reading in the library

Unijos! Unijos!! Unijos! University of Jos with all its insecurity challenges, strikes and other challenges remains one of the most rewarding and memorable chapters of my life. UNIJOS gave me more than just a degree. It provided me with opportunities to learn, grow, and develop skills that I still apply in what I do today. The knowledge and experiences I gained there have played a big role in shaping the person I am becoming. One of the greatest gifts the university gave me was the people I met along the way. What started as friendships turned into family. Being surrounded by people from different cultures, backgrounds, and ethnic groups taught me the value of unity, understanding, and genuine human connection. It showed me that despite our differences, we can build strong relationships that last long irrespective of our cultural background or where we come from. I am also grateful for the lecturers and staff who were always willing to support students when we needed there support to give references and not to forget their guidance, encouragement, and willingness to help during my time at the university and created an environment where many of us could thrive. Looking back, UNIJOS was not perfect, and there were challenges along the way. However, the experiences, lessons, friendships, and opportunities I gained far outweigh the difficulties. It is one of the place that helped shape my story, and for that, I will always be grateful.

GREATEST JOSSITE University of Jos was a great school lively, very diverse, and full of friendly people. Jos is a lovely city with pleasant weather, which made campus life enjoyable. I had a good time overall and appreciated the academic and social experiences. The only downside was the frequent strikes that delayed graduation compared to some other schools in Nigeria, but it didn’t take away from the positive memories I made there.

My time at UJ was genuinely enjoyable. The Computer Science department had some great lecturers who made the experience worthwhile, and the sense of community on campus was something else entirely. That said, it wasn’t without its challenges. Internet access was a real struggle back then - something that mattered a lot as a CS student. You learned to be resourceful. Away from academics, some of my best memories were on the volleyball court at Village Hostel. That’s the kind of thing you don’t forget.
